Metric is one of my favorite bands. Through every trail and tribulation I have gone through in my life I can also depend on them to create a soundtrack to the situation. From first moving to Newfoundland and back again and then moving to Victoria. Their songs track the progress of my life’s journey, from happiness, sadness, bitterness and back to contentment. This song came up on my iPod as I was making my way to work and it just delighted me to swim through memories, to remember good and bad times and realize that I haven’t lost all that much.
